What are early top-ups?

When you've a sudden expense, the early top-up service is here to help.

All you need to do is hit the early top-up button that appears on your SteadyPay dashboard. We'll then drawdown a fixed amount of credit from your top-up facility and advance it to your bank account.

Unlike the regular top-up service, you don't have to be paid below average to access this credit.

What's more, if you’re consistent with your subscription and instalment payments we'll look at increasing the amount of cash you can access in an early top-up.

How do I repay the early top-up?

When you hit the early top-up button, we’ll represent you with an instalment plan.

If you’re already repaying a top-up, we’ll simply add the amount to your balance and reset your instalment plan.

We automatically collect instalments from your debit card on the due dates. Alternatively, you can pay an instalment early - just use the optional payment feature on the app.

And the best thing - once you’ve repaid the early top-up, you can access the service again!

What if I login but can’t see the service?

Have you installed the latest version of the SteadyPay app? You can download it from Google Play or the Apple Store.

Have you paid the subscription for two weeks? Once that happens all the SteadyPay services are activated.

If you still can't see the service this will be due to one of the following reasons:

  • You're behind in your subscription and/or instalment payments

  • You've reached your credit limit

  • You're in a repayment holiday

  • You have not settled the first subscription upon joining

  • Your account is under review

Once you’ve brought your account up to date, you should able to access the early top-up service.

After paying the initial subscription, the feature will be accessible within the next 24 business hours, provided that the account has been approved by our underwriting team's manual review process.
